Michael Ottesen

Michael R. Ottesen, age 60, of Neshkoro, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on March 27, 1962, in Pocahuntas, Arkansas, a son of Harold and Irene (Stimac) Ottesen Jr.

For ten years, Michael owned and operated Otty’s Place in Neshkoro. He then worked for the Glen Oak Company in Montello for 12 years before working in Arkdale, WI, at the Pineland Camping Park where he met his future wife, Jessica.  Michael had also worked for Reilly’s Pub in Markesan.

On April 24, 2010, Michael married Jessica Schroeder in Milton, WI. He loved Nascar, cooking, ATV riding, and watching football, especially the Green Bay Packers.  

Those Michael leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Jessica Ottesen of Neshkoro; 3 children, Dakota Ottesen of Neshkoro, Michael (Katie) Ottesen of Redgranite, Robert Ottesen of Green Bay; 2 grandchildren, Ricky and Callie; his parents, Harold and Irene Ottesen Jr. of Neshkoro; brother, James Ottesen of Princeton; sister, Sandra (Thomas) Brown of Marinette; special friends, Randy (Connie) Sondalle of Princeton.

In honoring Michael’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
