Michael Alex Reusch

Michael Alex Reusch, age 73, of Princeton, WI, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at his home. He was born on August 2, 1953, in Oak Park, IL, a son of Alexander and Joan (Kistenbroker) Reusch.

On June 5, 2002, Michael married Fran Losey in Princeton, IL. Before retiring, Mike was a bulldozer operator for Local 150 Operating Engineers working in commercial excavating in the Illinois Valley. He was a member of Midwest Operating Engineers Local 150 for 48 years. Mike enjoyed playing his guitar, was a model railroad enthusiast, and loved building and riding Harleys.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 24 years, Fran Reusch; 2 stepsons, Dustin (Carrie) Smith of Princeton, IL, Jordan (Brittny) Losey of Wyanet, IL; 2 step-grandchildren, Carver and Ivy Smith; sister, Linda (Ray) Mitchell of Clearwater, FL, 2 brothers, Jeff Reusch of Missouri, Eric (Lisa) Reusch of Virginia; nieces and nephews, Joseph and Adam Miechle; Ellen and Jack Reusch; Corrine and Nathan Reusch; 2 bonus nieces, Shelby and Morgan Hall; his 3 furry friends, Hazel, Smoky and Buford. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Joan Reusch; best friend, Steve Hall.
