Nancy R. Ruggles

Nancy R. Ruggles, age 84, of Iola, WI, passed away at her home on Saturday, February 24, 2024, with family by her side. She was born on May 24, 1939, in Milwaukee, WI, a daughter of Raymond and Charlotte (Evans) Schwarze.

Nancy married Robert R. Ruggles on June 10, 1972, in Brookfield, WI. For many years, she worked as a bookkeeper for the Roundy’s Grocery Stores Warehouse in Mukwonago, WI. Nancy and Bob retired and moved to Myrtle Beach, SC, where she returned to bookkeeping, working for Pacific Stores before they returned to Wisconsin. Nancy enjoyed reading, gardening and working on puzzles. She loved to be with her grandchildren and her dog, Kayla.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her husband of 51 years, Bob Ruggles of Iola; 2 sons, Don (Melissa) Moede of Raleigh, NC, Alan (Melinda) Moede of Manawa, WI; stepson, Michael (Leslie) Ruggles of Florida; 5 grandchildren, Miranda (Jeremiah) Parson, Morgan (Cody) Parker, Maquelle Moede, Mataya Moede, Iain Moede; 2 great grandchildren, Ashton and Otis; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Charlotte Schwarze; 2 sisters, Roberta Wachholz and Cheryl Foley; 2 brothers-in-law, Richard Foley and Warren Wachholz.
