Nathan Kuruc, age 34, of Princeton, WI, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, May 25, 2023. He was born on August 29, 1988, in Altamonte Springs, FL.
Over the last few years, Nathan worked as a mechanic for Alliance Laundry Systems and most recently for the J.M. Smucker Company in Ripon. His love for nature, wild mushroom foraging, cooking, video games (ARK), skydiving, and rock and roll music is what he enjoyed the most. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. Nathan was a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend, but most of all, he was a loving father to two beautiful girls.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include his 2 daughters, Olivia and Paige Kuruc of Princeton; 4 brothers, Zachary Greene of WI, Keith Schaefer of FL, Robert Kuruc Jr. of WI, Kristopher Schaefer of Princeton; his parents, Kevin and Patricia Schaefer of Princeton; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his 2 grandmothers, Marilyn Zelinski and Eileen Greene; uncle, Rob Kuruc.
A celebration of life for Nathan Kuruc will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10452, 136 North Farmer St., in Princeton.
