Richard “Dick” Wurtz, age 67, of Princeton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, after a brief battle with cancer, surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Dick retired from a lifetime of work in the commercial refrigeration industry. He enjoyed spending time training his dogs, Winston and Harvard and also spending quality time with his “dog people.”
Richard was the cherished and loving father of Ryan M. Wurtz (Karina Fuller and Arianna); loving brother and friend of Kathleen Eineichner; a treasured friend of Sandy Dollar and Richard Raab. He was also loved by many other relatives and friends. Richard was preceded in death by his loving parents, Lawrence and Alice (Klow) Wurtz; his siblings, to whom he was a loving brother and friend, Patricia (Lloyd) Musack, Lawrence (Marian) Wurtz and Eugene (Alyce) Wurtz.
Per Richard’s wishes there will be no services. The family will have a private celebration in the near future. A memorial has been established to the two following charities.
