Shane Patrick Bushie

Shane Patrick Bushie, age 57, of Princeton, passed away at home with his family by his side on Friday, January 19, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on June 7, 1966, in Milwaukee, WI, a son of Maurice Bushie and Patricia Donahue.

Shane married Amber Ashner on July 21, 2006, in Kane County, Illinois. He had various jobs during his working career, being known as a jack of all trades. Shane enjoyed working on cars, driving them and doing donuts. 

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Amber Bushie of Princeton; 3 sons, Shane Conner Bushie of Wells, MN, Sean Michael Bushie of Princeton, Dylan Patrick Bushie of Princeton; numerous brothers and sisters; other relatives and friends. Shane was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers. 

A celebration of the life for Shane Patrick Bushie will take place on Sunday, February 4, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the American Legion Post 366, 853 West Main St. in Princeton.
