Teresa Glod, age 86, of Princeton, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019, at Martha's Inc. in Princeton. She was born on November 1, 1932, in Poland, the daughter of Hipolit and Harriet (Zarczynska) Brzozowski. Teresa immigrated to the United States with her family after WWII. While living in Chicago, she met Alfred Glod. They were married on June 10, 1950, at the Holy Trinity Church in Chicago. Shortly after they married, Teresa and Alfred moved to Detroit, MI, where they raised their family. After Alfred retired from the Ford Motor Company they moved to Princeton, WI, to enjoy their retirement years.
Teresa was a faithful member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Princeton. She was an avid cook and baker who enjoyed entertaining her family and friends. Teresa loved Christmas and hosting family Christmas gatherings that have created cherished memories for her family. In her younger years, she enjoyed gardening, making ceramics, sewing, crocheting, and had a knack for learning whatever new craft was popular at the time.
Those Teresa leaves behind to cherish her memory include her 2 children, Lucy (Hank) Konrad of Green Lake, Michael (Denise) Glod of Markesan; 7 grandchildren, Jerry (Sarah) Konrad, Scott Konrad; Mike (Stephanie) Glod, Mathieu Glod, Katie Glod; Chris (Tiffany) Glod, Alycia (Michael) Roehl; 9 great grandchildren, Kelsey, Megan, Hope, Brock, and Kylie Konrad; Ella, Madelyn and Sawyer Glod; Easton Roehl; brother, Richard (Karen) Brzozowski of Neshkoro; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hipolit and Harriet Brzozowski; husband, Alfred Glod; son, Douglas Glod; brother, Tony Brzozowski; great grandson, Alex Konrad.
A Memorial Mass for Teresa Glod will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1211 W. Main St., in Princeton.
