Therese M. Parafiniuk

Therese M. Parafiniuk, age 92, of Princeton, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Martha’s in Princeton. She was born on August 27, 1930, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Edmund T. and Helen E. (Bystry) Hildebrandt. 

Therese married Edmund Parafiniuk on May 12, 1951, at Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Milwaukee. She worked as a secretary at Speed Queen in Ripon for 25 years. Therese enjoyed shopping, playing cards, baking, gardening, doing puzzles and crossword puzzles. 

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her two sons, Steven Parafiniuk of Redgranite, Robert (Robin) Parafiniuk of Princeton; 11 grandchildren, Sarah (Tom) Douglas, Jessi Parafiniuk; Angela (Bart) Swaim, Faith Parafiniuk, Polly Parafiniuk; Justin (Jessica) Parafiniuk, Travis Parafiniuk; Richard (Amanda) Parafiniuk, Matthew (Kendra) Parafiniuk, Jessica Jackson, Logan Bleck; 19 great grandchildren, Claire, Dylan, Oliver, Quinn, Sophi, Ella, Ethan, Max, Ayden, Abby, Dean, James, Lincoln, Corbyn, Rayne, Calvin, Arya, Emma, Wesley; sister-in-law, Theresa Wajtanowski of Milwaukee; other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Parafiniuk; son, Kenneth Parafiniuk; daughter, Kathryn Parafiniuk.   

A visitation will be held for Therese M. Parafiniuk on Friday, August 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the Wachholz and Sons Funeral Home, 303 Harvard St., in Princeton.
