Theresse "Terry" Hannemann

Theresse “Terry” Hannemann, age 80, of Princeton, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton. Terry was born on January 27, 1940, in Berlin, WI, the daughter of Alvin and Helen (Misevicz) Voeltner.

Terry was a 1958 graduate of Berlin High School. On March 30, 1974, Terry married Jerald Hannemann in Auroraville, WI. For many years, she had worked as a certified nursing assistant in private home health care.

Terry loved animals and had many pets throughout the years. She presently had 5 pets, 2 parrots, 2 cats and a dog.  At one time she had 7 parrots and was known affectionately as “birdie grandma.” Being an avid sports lover, she enjoyed cheering on the Packers, Badgers, Brewers and Notre Dame. She truly enjoyed her children and grandchildren.

Those Terry leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband of 46 years, Jerry Hannemann of Princeton; her daughter, Jody (Gary) Huenerberg of Green Lake; 5 grandchildren, Josh Stellmacher, Jessica Himes, Jeremy (Becki) Huenerberg, Shane (Emily) Standifer, Shanna Calkins; 11 great grandchildren; former son-in-law, Karl Huenerberg; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Helen Voeltner; daughter, Lisa “Lee” Huenerberg; brother, Larry Voeltner.
