William “Bill” Keipe, age 58, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton. He was born on October 17, 1963, in Ripon, WI, a son of Daniel and Elizabeth (Sina) Keipe.
Bill began his career on the Lake in the early 80s installing boat lifts for Norton's Dry Dock. He then went to Shoreline Marine where he would work for the next 30 years becoming the general manager and an indispensable figure of the Green Lake community.
Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with friends and family and helping out his neighbors. He helped sell Christmas trees and was also an ice fishing guide. He had a vast knowledge of Green Lake.
Those Bill leaves behind to cherish his memory include his mother, Betty Keipe; his 5 siblings, Bernie (Kathy) Keipe, Lynn (Mark) Bierman, Kathy (Drew) Zeratsky, Betsy (Mike) Keipe, Matt Keipe; special friend, Beth Becker and her children, Angie, Penny, Ericka and Beth’s grandson, Luca Becker; 4 nephews, Zack and Seth Bierman; Jake Malson and Mackenzie Keipe; 5 nieces, Kayla Keipe; Emma and Jane Zeratsky; Kristine Roberts and Sadie Keipe; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Keipe; grandparents, Bernard and Sadie Sina; William and Peggy Keipe.
A prayer service for William “Bill” Keipe will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m., at the Wachholz and Sons Funeral Home, 303 Harvard St., in Princeton.
