William “Bill” Villmow, age 82, of Ripon, formerly of West Bend, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026, at Froedtert Hospital of Milwaukee. He was born in Milwaukee, WI on February 1, 1943, a son of Walter John and Ruth Amanda (Busack) Villmow.
On January 4, 1964, Bill married Sharon A. Mehaffey in Illinois. For many years, he worked as an engineer at Evinrude Motors in Milwaukee and later was employed at Garden Way in Port Washington. His many hobbies included hunting, fishing, motorcycle and bicycle riding, hiking, camping, and driving various types of automobiles. He loved feeding his backyard squirrels and chipmunks. Bill and Sharon enjoyed picnics in the park. They also enjoyed going for rides in their car, especially trips to the Black Hills in South Dakota. Wanting to be closer to their family, Bill and Sharon had recently moved to Ripon.
Those Bill leaves behind to cherish his memory are his wife of nearly 62 years, Sharon A. Villmow of Ripon; 2 children, Scott W. Villmow of Jackson, WI; Tracey (James) Villmow-Ray of Princeton; 8 grandchildren, Daniel and Julia Buchel of Grand Rapids, MI, Alisha Hall of Milwaukee, Jacob Richter of Plymouth, WI, Holly Aasen of Ripon, Taylor Towler of West Bend, Megan Villmow of West Bend, Cassey Villmow of Slinger; 7 great grandchildren, Olivia, Michael, Christoph, Grace, Avery, Bryce, Carter; best friend and great neighbor, Russ Krueger of West Bend; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Ruth Villmow; brother, Gerald Villmow.
