Yolanda Gallegos

Yolanda “Yo” Gallegos, age 78, of Green Lake, WI, formerly of Princeton, WI, passed away with loved ones by her side on Monday, July 12, 2021, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah, WI. She was born on April 30, 1943, in San Gabriel, CA, to Espiridion and Higinia (Moreno) Gallegos, the youngest of 8 children.

Yolanda grew up in San Gabriel, CA, and moved to Montello in 1974. She later moved to Princeton to be near her daughter. Yolanda retired from Kwik Trip in Princeton after many years of service. Once retired, she enjoyed her work at the Princeton Senior Center.

Yolanda touched the lives of so many with her generosity and kind spirit, helping anyone in need. She loved life. She was passionate, very caring, fun loving with a zany sense of humor that made her the life of the party. She will be dearly missed.

Those Yolanda leaves behind to cherish her memory include her daughter and best friend, Cyndi (Ed) Alexander of Princeton; daughter, Penny (Gene) McCoy of Long Beach, CA; 3 granddaughters, Samantha, Courtney and Heather McCoy; 5 great grandchildren; special friends, Pattie and Ian Jones of Seymour, WI, Carrie and Michael Koschak of Princeton; her beloved dog, Cocoa Chanel #5; many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Yolanda Gallegos will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Princeton VFW Hall, 136 N. Farmer St., in Princeton. Please visit our website www.wachholzandsons.com to send a condolence or to share a memory of Yolanda with her family.
