Zachary T. Craft, age 36, of Princeton, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. He was born on July 20, 1984, in Colorado Springs, CO, a son of Thomas N. and Amelia S. (Berggren) Craft III.
Zach was a man with a warm and generous heart. He abhorred racism and was a defender of animal rights. Zach loved his family, friends, and neighbors. He especially enjoyed sharing food around a community grill or tossing a football with the neighborhood kids. Zach was a huge Packers fan and had loved participating in baseball in his youth. Zach had a wide variety of interests from metal detecting and survival skills to British history through the eyes of Lucy Worsley. His beautiful eyes and playful sense of humor could brighten anyone’s day. His happiest times outside the comforts of his home were to be found fishing in the rivers and lakes of Wisconsin, or in the mountains of Colorado, where he was born. While he had worked in many fields, he was most proud of his custom tile work. Zach had plans for a great future here in WI, and it is with deepest sadness that we must now lay these plans to rest.
Those Zachary leaves behind to cherish his memory include his mother and stepfather, Amelia S. (Ed) Drew of Montello; his father, Thomas N. Craft III of Traverse City, MI; 2 brothers, Kyle (Jillian) Craft of Erie, CO; Dylan Craft of Traverse City, MI; sister, Maria Craft of Traverse City, MI; 2 nieces, Harper and Riley; aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Zachary will be cremated and there will be no service. Please visit our website www.wachholzandsons.com to send a condolence or to share a memory of Zach with his family. If you wish, you may donate funds in Zach’s name to the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
